Terms of Service

Swaptio is a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace: we connect users who offer cards with users looking for them. We are NOT a party to the transaction: price, payment and delivery are arranged between users themselves, off the platform.

We do not hold cards in custody nor process payments. We do not guarantee the authenticity, condition or existence of any listed item.

To trade you need an account, created via an identity provider (for example, Google or Apple). You are responsible for keeping your access secure and for all activity under your account.

You must meet the minimum legal age to enter into contracts in your country. An account is personal and non-transferable.

You agree to post accurate information about cards (condition, edition, language, authenticity) and to honor what you agree with the other party.

The following is prohibited: listing counterfeit or illegal items, scamming or attempting to scam, harassing other users, spamming, circumventing security measures, or using the platform for any unlawful purpose.

We may moderate, suspend or remove content and accounts that breach these terms, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

Payment and shipping are arranged and carried out directly between users. We recommend methods with buyer protection and NEVER paying in advance through unsafe channels or to people without verifiable reputation.

Swaptio does not take part in shipping and assumes no liability for loss, damage or delay. Any dispute is resolved between the parties; we may offer mediation and reputation tools, but the final decision rests with the users.

After a transaction, users may rate each other. Reviews must be honest and based on a real transaction. You can report a user or a listing that breaks these rules.

We reserve the right to remove fraudulent or abusive reviews.

You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, descriptions). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display that content in order to operate the service.

You are responsible for holding the rights to the images you upload and for ensuring they do not infringe third-party rights.

We use automated systems, including AI detection of suspicious messages, to protect the community. Flagging a message is not an accusation: it is a caution signal. Even so, the ultimate responsibility to trade carefully is yours.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swaptio provides the service "as is" and does not guarantee outcomes of transactions between users. We are not liable for indirect damages or for another user’s breach.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile. Deletion anonymizes your personal data; certain information tied to historical transactions (deals and reviews received by others) is retained for integrity. See the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with its date; if the change is significant, we will notify you. Continued use implies acceptance.
